hi,i’m
DIONTE
A multidisciplinary artist with 15+ years in the creative and entertainment industry, I have built a career at the intersection of design, branding, music production, and songwriting. From shaping visual identities for major brands to crafting music that pushes sonic boundaries, my work is rooted in originality, culture, and storytelling. My design journey has led me to collaborate with Team LeBron and Beats by Dre, creating the custom LeBron James Hashmoji for Twitter, as well as rebranding SHUDEAL, a well-known women’s shoe store in Dallas, and Hula Hut, a Texas staple. My work has also extended to GRILLZ BY SCOTTY in Atlanta, as creative director. Beyond that, I’ve designed cover art and visuals for hundreds of artists across the country, helping shape the visual language of music.
My music career began as one-half of A.Dd+, a Dallas hip-hop duo that left an undeniable mark on the city’s underground scene. Over the course of four albums, we built a reputation for pushing creative boundaries, earning Best Hip-Hop Act three years in a row at the Dallas Observer Awards, selling out Granada Theater twice, and landing a Red Bull sponsorship. We toured with legends like Talib Kweli, Bun B, Paul Wall, and Black Milk, and even opened for Wu-Tang Clan. Our momentum led to a major label deal with Highstandardz/Def Jam, but before we could sign, the group dissolved, forcing me to rethink my next move.
That transition led me to Los Angeles, where I stepped into ghostwriting and production, refining my skills behind the scenes. It was during this time that I fell in love with house music, a genre that spoke to me in a way nothing else had. Eventually, I moved to Austin, where I immersed myself in music production, learning to craft my own unique style—blending house with the Southern hip-hop roots that shaped me.
My work—whether in design or music—is about more than aesthetics. It’s about storytelling, impact, and pushing creative culture forward. I’m constantly evolving, constantly creating, and always looking for the next challenge.
